SUMMER OPEN AIR CINEMA – presented by Kerry Film Festival On a summer evening, there’s nothing quite like watching a movie under the stars. Now in our second year, Kerry Film Fesitval is delighted to annouce our ‘Summer Open Air Cinema’ programme for 2016. Right around the county, we will be bringing our Open Air Cinema to stunning parks and locations for everyone to enjoy. These FREE events are partnership with Kerry County Council (Community Support Fund) and we thank them for their continued support. BIG (1988) 2hr 10 mins – Director: Penny Marshall Our first Summer Open Air Cinema for 2015 will take place in Pearse Park, Tralee and we will be screening BIG, the 1988 American fantasy comedy film, starring Tom Hanks as Josh Baskin, a young boy who makes a wish “to be big” and is then aged to adulthood overnight.
