KILLORGLIN ARCHIVE RETOUCHING CLASS

This Console was carved in the 1920’s from a solid piece of wood by Mikey Houlihan , carpenter , Lr. Bridge St . Consoles were very common over shopfronts in the old days , with the name of the owner or busineess in between. Sadly this wonderful craft died out with the emergence of plastic in the modern age.
