If you are interested in supporting the work of KAS, you can do so in the following ways:
1. Provide old photos, maps and documents to be scanned and archived
KAS will scan and document photos that are provided by members of the public. In order to provide the photos contact Tracey, Mike, Shane or John at our office in the Sean Scoil, Sunhill.
We can also arrange to have them collected and returned to you within a few days.
2. Take part in an interview to share special memories (or encourage your elderly neighbour or relative to take part in an interview)
KAS will conduct interviews with older residents either in their homes or in our special recording studio in the Sean Scoil, Sunhill, Killorglin. In order to organise an interview simply contact us and we will arrange a suitable time and place.
3. Join KAS as a volunteer
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer for the society is more than welcome. There are many tasks to be done from collection of information, communicating the message about our work at home and abroad as well as the all important task of fundraising to continue our work.
